(2) What if my child has special dietary needs?
Answer: Contact the school nurse and dietitian. These two people work close together to meet the needs of the child (Physician prescription required).

(3) What type of beverage is offered if my child cannot drink milk?
Answer: If your child has a milk allergy, you will need to bring a prescription from the doctor and give to the cafeteria manager to be kept on file. Potable water will be given to your child once the cafeteria manager receives the prescription.

(4) What type of foods are offered for children on vegetarian diets?
Answer: Fresh lettuce salads, whole fruits, cooked vegetables and fruit juices are offered daily.

(5) Why is participation in the National School Lunch and Breakfast Programs important?
Answer:  Studies show students who eat a nutritious breakfast and lunch will learn better and behave better. USDA National School Lunch Study  USDA nutrition standards must be followed in school meal programs and school meals will provide the balanced nutrition students need to grow, learn and achieve academic success.
